To losen it, simply leave the headphones on an object that is wider than your head, and to tighten it take both ear cups and bring them past each other so that the headband itself makes a small circle. The XS is basically a slightly more "fun" Ananda with a better headband (function only, not looks or feel IMO) that is $200 cheaper. I'm a huge ZMF fanboy and have always found their headbands to be very comfortable, so I jumped at it. The headband cover helps but it's secondary to the bending. The hd600 headband fits like a glove (same width as the 400se metal band). So maybe will improve with an little expansion padding that can be bought via Amazon ~20 bucks or so. You need a headband designed for the egg cups, I have the Ananda as well and that headband would fit if you could get it.
